What's the deal with German-speaking people and outrageous, unprecedented crimes?

I don't think any one group is worse than another; perverts can be found anywhere in the world, these cases just received more publicity. There is stuff going on right now that we don't even know about in all parts of the world, dreadful things, so this aberrant behavior is not restricted only to Germans.
