Has anyone else received poor customer service from Acer regarding a problem with their laptop. I am apalled!?

I bought my Acer Aspire 5315 just over 12 months ago. The screen went dark and then light again from day one but it wasn't a problem to me it would be more hle to send it back so I didn't bother. But then the screen kept going white and wouldn't come back on unless I left it for several hours. I emailed them having discovered my warranty was a few days out of date but they didn't reply. I called them a couple of weeks later as the screen wont come on at all now just white but they said I had not emailed and he practically called my a liar saying I could have made up the log number! Have tried writing several letters to no avail and have emailed them again but no response once more. I have not received anything like an apology despite the fact that this seems to be a common problem just insinuations of dishonesty!
