Will my boyfried go to jail?

well im 14 and hes 14 aswell. a 16 year old kid got up in my face in front of him call me a $lut. and my BF got up in his face and 1he 16 yr old threw a punch and broke him arm.(hes in judo) and he broke his nose and a bystander called the cops and my BF is being charged with ault and the other kid is not in trouble.
