Why is Mac considerably more expensive in Canada when it`s a Canadian based company?

It's actually not a Canadian company anymore, Estee Lauder has owned it for over 10 years now. And yes we are getting screwed the price difference is not that much, our currency is pretty close. MAC never should have been sold.
