Are Lion Fish edible?

Normally a denizen of the Indian Ocean, some numb skulls released the Lion Fish into the Caribbean Sea, about 5 years ago, and now the coral reefs of the Bahamas are threatened by an invasive species that eats up smaller more endemic fish, and is poised to take over the entire region. I wonder if it is edible, or if fishermen cannot make a point to catch all of them and turn them into cat-food, or at least adorn the plates of hungry Haitians, or whatnot...
